1. Who We Are
THE MONKFRUIT CO, S.L., CIF B88875604, with registered office at Calle Doctor Balmis 16, 28023 Madrid, registered with the Madrid Commercial Register, Page M-890004. We sell under the Sava brand at sava.food. Contact: hello@sava.food.
2. Scope
These terms and conditions govern the purchase of products on sava.food by persons aged 18 or over with a delivery address in mainland Spain or the Balearic Islands. By placing an order, you accept these terms and conditions, the Shipping Policy, the Returns Policy and the Privacy Policy.
3. Products
Sava products are food products. Information about each product (ingredients, nutritional information, storage and instructions for use) is provided on its product page and packaging, with the information on the packaging taking precedence. Images are for illustrative purposes only.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are displayed before you confirm your order and are detailed in the Shipping Policy. The price applicable is the price in effect at the time the order is placed. If there is an obvious pricing error, we will notify you and you may either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it at no cost.
5. How to Place an Order
You add the products to your cart, enter your delivery and payment details and confirm the order. Before confirming, you can review and correct your details. Once you confirm your order, you will receive an email containing an order summary: this email constitutes confirmation of the contract. The language of the contract is Spanish, and we keep a copy which you can request by emailing hello@sava.food.
6. Payment
We accept credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal and Bizum. Payment is charged when you confirm your order. The charge will appear on your bank statement as SAVA.FOOD. Payments are processed through the secure environments of our payment providers; we do not store your card details.
7. Subscriptions
Granulado can be purchased as a subscription, with a 5% discount compared with the one-time purchase price, always including free shipping, with a minimum of 2 units per delivery and delivery frequencies of 4, 6, 8 or 12 weeks, depending on your selection. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your selected payment method on each renewal date at the price applicable at that time (we will notify you in advance of any price changes). There is no minimum commitment: you can pause, modify or cancel your subscription at any time through your account, with changes applying to deliveries that have not yet been prepared. Deliveries that have already been prepared are subject to the Returns Policy. We will send you an email before each renewal.
8. Delivery
Delivery is governed by the Shipping Policy. The risk of loss of or damage to the product passes to you when you, or a person designated by you, receives it.
9. Cancellation, Returns and Right of Withdrawal
You can cancel an order free of charge by emailing hello@sava.food as long as preparation of the order has not yet begun at the warehouse; this option is in addition to your right of withdrawal and does not replace or limit it. You have a right of withdrawal for 14 calendar days from delivery, applicable only to unopened products with the seal intact: food products that have been unsealed are excluded for hygiene and food safety reasons (Article 103(e) of the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users – TRLGDCU). The direct costs of returning the products are borne by the customer, except where the return is due to an error on our part, in accordance with the costs and procedure set out in the Returns Policy. The refund includes the original standard delivery charges and will be made using the same payment method within a maximum of 14 calendar days from notification of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we receive the product or receive evidence that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.
10. Guarantee
If a product arrives in poor condition, damaged or does not correspond to what you purchased, we will respond in accordance with consumer protection legislation: you may choose between a replacement or a refund, at no cost to you. Email us at hello@sava.food with a photo. Products must be consumed before the best-before date indicated on the packaging and stored in accordance with the instructions provided.
In addition, we offer a First Purchase Guarantee: if you're not happy with the taste of your first order from sava.food, we will refund the amount you paid without requiring you to return the product. To request a refund, email hello@sava.food within 30 days of delivery. This guarantee may be used once per customer. This commercial guarantee is voluntary and additional: it does not affect your statutory rights, including your right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee of conformity.
11. Availability
If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed your order, we will notify you and refund the amount paid within a maximum of 14 calendar days.
12. Intellectual Property
Sava, its logos, text, images and designs are the property of THE MONKFRUIT CO, S.L. or its licensors. They may not be reproduced without authorisation.
13. Liability
We are not liable for delays or failures to perform due to force majeure. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits the rights granted to you under consumer protection legislation.
14. Complaints and Governing Law
If something hasn't gone as expected, email us at hello@sava.food: we will respond within a maximum of 48 business hours and would prefer to resolve the matter directly with you. These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of the consumer's place of residence. You may also contact the consumer protection services of your autonomous community or the Consumer Arbitration Boards.
15. Changes
We may update these terms and conditions; each order is subject to the version in effect at the time the order was placed. We are a small company just getting started: if we make a mistake, we will acknowledge it and put it right.
